Everyone and their moms should know what Facebook is at this point, but there are still a lot of people that don’t use Facebook and don’t even know or care about it. It’s a controversial platform for sure, but we think it’s still important to make a social media review for it. Because whether you like it or not, the platform has amassed millions of users worldwide.
The Review
As we’ve said above, Facebook is a social media platform that has tons and tons of features in it. With the most prominent of those features being its community-centered “Groups”. As of right now, there’s no platform in the Internet that offers a community feature that’s as good as Facebook’s.
There are tons and tons of features attached to it, starting from admins, posts approval, and everything you can think of to manage a large forum.
That being said, while Facebook has many good features in this social media review, it’s not perfect by any means. If anything, there are glaring disadvantages that Facebook has that made most millennials turn their eyes away from it.
The biggest concern is privacy. For some of you, this might seem a minor issue, but seeing how Facebook’s own founder, Mack Zuckerberg himself saying that privacy is no longer a social norm, it’s fair for its user to be concerned.
One of the biggest examples with this is what happens after you die. It’s not a common question for anyone to ask, but if the owner of that Facebook accounts passed away, if they didn’t start a Legacy Contact during their times, all of their information will then be owned by Facebook. Which of course, is very concerning.
Bottom Line
To summarize this social media review of ours, Facebook is a platform with tons of active users daily, and a flourishing community inside it. But, it’s got some privacy issues that’s been apparent during its working years, and even up to this day.
And just like any other social media platform out there, the place can be very toxic that it becomes uninhabitable for some. That’s all from us from now, thank you for reading, we’ll see you next time.
